Leonard Hummelman-Demanding teacher, taught government, civics, driver’s training

Known for his no non-sense classroom, Mr. Hummelman taught responsibility, accountiblity, and his subject matter. Many students would come back and express their gratitude to him for his demanding them to work hard and excel. He demanded excellence, and showed them how to achieve success.

Since his passing, the Hummelman Family has donated $10,000 each year to honor his dedication to Chula Vista High School.
