1st principal of Chula Vista High School, Superintendent Of Sweetwater Union High School District, 1st President of Southwestern College(for $1.00 a year), retired in 1976. No one person has done more for Chula Vista High School than Mr. Rindone. Hel selected the first faculty at Chula and the appointed teachers and staff were very knowledgeable and willing to put in the extra time to create the “Spartan Culture” as we know and love.

Mr. Rindone was very proud of the fact that his three sons graduated from Chula, all became outstanding teachers(Howard =Castle Park, John=Hilltop, Jerry=Chula Vista), and all became successful administrators in our district. We owe much to this man that dedicated is life to students and our district.
