Rochelle Terry was a great English teacher! Since starting at Chula Vista in 1969, she has taken thousands of her students to place called “Grammerland.” Grammerland was not always an easy place to visit! Many students have returned to Chula to thank her for caring enough to make sure the learned the material they were going to need in their future. She demanded excellence and students improved their reading, writing, and thinking skills. You were prepared for the next level and had developed the skills to be successful.
A scholarship is given in her name each year by a former student to honor the impact she had on his life! She was really good at what she did!
