Class of 73, CVHS Hall of Fame, lead guitarist and songwriter for Heart

Craig Bartock has been an industry professional for over twenty years. Craig has written, arranged, produced and performed for some of the biggest names in music. He can definitely be called an all-around studio all-star. While being proficient at keyboards, guitar and vocals, he can also engineer and produce any style of music out of his own personal audio facility.

His work with such legends as Heart, Blondie, Nikki Sixx, and Tina Arena, just to name a few has established him as very successful collaborator and producer in the world of rock. Also, as the guitarist, songwriter, and co-producer of the legendary band Heart, his work with Ann and Nancy Wilson is quite well known and respected. Equally as important is his work on the pop side with younger artists like Brie Larson, The Troys and many others. When it comes to his work, there is no style of music that Craig hasn’t had success in. He loves a good challenge.

While continuing to be at the cutting edge of popular music, over the last several years Craig has also become quite well established in the world of music for animation. His music continues to be used by the most popular animated shows on all of the major networks as well as CD’s and cassettes released by major recording companies.

Craig Bartock’s associations in the music industry span twenty years with professional work in rhythm and blues, rock, country, classical, rap, and musical scoring. He has been afflicted with all of the major record labels including EMI, Electra, Sony, Arista Records, Warner Bros, RCA, and Virgin Records.

Multi-talented, Bartock’s range of experience is evident by the variety of successful projects he has completed over his career. In the area of Rhythm & Blues, he has worked with such artists as Brandy, Madonna, Toni Braxton, Simply Red and Usher just to name a few. Bartock acts as Producer, Composer, and Musician, depending upon the project.
