Mission Statement

The Chula Vista High School Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting the needs of all students at Chula Vista High School by:

• Providing financial support for projects and facilities
• Answering the challenges of reduced public school funding
• Enhancing community relations and support with local businesses
• Working with parents, the school and the community to enhance the educational experience for CVHS students
• Continued Traditions of Giving Back to CVHS
• Establishing a Forum for CVHS Alumni to support their Alma Mater

The CVHS Foundation is a non-profit organization staffed by committed volunteers to help bridge the gap between what our school has and what it needs.

About Us

The Foundation of Chula Vista High School was founded in 2011 and is a non-profit, tax exempt, public benefit corporation whose sole purpose is to raise funds for Chula Vista High School and it’s students.

The need for such funds has increased significantly in recent years, as Chula Vista High School has been experiencing significant public funding cuts. Our school is a recognized California Distinguished School, but this status does not insulate it from deep funding cuts that threaten sports programs, the arts and badly needed maintenance and improvements at Chula Vista High School.

A Foundation simply cannot provide for these needs at Chula Vista High School without your support. Whether you are a parent or grandparent of a student, an alumnus, or member of the community we need your help to maintain the high academic standards of Chula Vista High School.

The members of the board and committee are volunteers that are working hard to keep the Spartan Spirit and success thriving. They dedicate their time, talent and resources to ensure that the Spartan Traditions continue and that staff and students have all the tools they need to achieve academic and personal excellence.

The Chula Vista High School Foundation (Tax ID #45- 2571169) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission of supporting the growing community of Chula Vista High School in Chula Vista, California. The Chula Vista High School Foundation raises money to support the needs of the Students, Faculty, and the Facilities of Chula Vista High School. The foundation does not retain a percentage of donations made to the foundation to benefit the school and it’s students – every gift, dollar for dollar, goes to the school fund the donor wishes it to benefit.
